With equipment, job constraints and mechanical resource availability in mind, the eCMS maintenance program was developed as the comprehensive solution to minimize down time and maximize efficiency. The system's ultimate goal is to produce work orders that balance the requirements of the job with the needs of the equipment.

Detailed Inquiries
An interactive inquiry reflecting critical conditions and task status is available whenever you need it. Detailed analysis of repair cost by component, task, and work order provides you with a complete overview of the essential information. All maintenance data is recorded by date and can be acquired as needed in order to keep service schedules current.

Work Order Entry
Both corrective and preventive work orders can be generated by the system, based on broad or very specific criteria. For example, these work orders can be created by piece of equipment, job, maintenance site, equipment class, department, or craft. The tasks to be performed are detailed with parts required, special instructions, estimated hours required, as well as the critical status of the item. Tasks can then be based on multiple frequencies, such as, days, months, operating hours, metered hours, and mileage.

Reporting
Special management exception reports are available based on the overdue or critical value of tasks to be performed. Repair history and performance comparisons are supported through easy-to-manage reports. These reports enable you to control even the largest fleets with one comprehensive tool.

Repair costs can be entered through various applications to the work order. Repairs can be charged to a work order alone or to the work order and a job. Parts required can be attached to the task, and an order can automatically be created when the work order is generated and filled when the work order is closed. Non-inventory parts can be entered, and a requisition can automatically be created to purchase those parts.
